An online mobile game named Punishing: Gray Raven released recently days and burst in the market with excitement. One of the operators belong to this game development company wants to send a mail with 1000 Black Cards (an item can use to raffle powerful characters in the game), but typing only one more zero and send a 10000 to all the players in the service of Android. This issue will lead a disaster to the income of this company because each mail contains the amount of Black Cards equal nearly $90 and power up their characters in the game world. Furthermore, it will let players consume the game content quickly than the developers expected.

After they realise the mistake, the game company want to reset the game data and cancel all the 10000 black cards, but some players have used them to raffle new characters. Many players blame this game for the unfair issue and leave the unpleasant commendation on the website. The high mark of this game reduced sharply from 9.5 to 4.5 (the full mark is 10).

I take an analysis of the comments on the website. Most players accept that this game is high quality in this genre, it has attractive characters and the battle system serve surprising well. This is the reason why the previous mark is very high at 9.5. The reduction in the score is contributed by these comments of criticising the company lack of experience to address this issue of inequality. Basically, players want the value the got is congruent with their investment they paid to this game.

This issue let me consider that the game industry is a sort of service industry, or belong to this. Developing a game is not enough for a professional designer. It is just 50% of your work if you think you have finished all the task. The operation of serving the players in your target market is the rest of your "call of duty".

Many small companies focus on the developing of game system or gamification of their idea but lack of enhancing their ability to run their game in a professional way. 

Well, this issue can let me pay more attention to considering the fairness in the game design and design how to running market activities of the game. Another awareness is that how to set up an SOP to let the operators in different layers of a company to follow.
